Invisible water-based mineral surface impregnation for absorbent porous surfaces

For absorbent and porous, mineral surfaces such as facades, masonry, paving, terraces and pool copings (brick, concrete, sand-lime brick, sandstone, limestone, porous natural stone and tiles)

BEFORE USE:
Working conditions: Use at temperatures between +5 °C and +35 °C. Do not apply if rain is expected within 4 hours.
Personal safety: Wear protective gloves / protective clothing / eye protection / face protection
Surface requirements: Not suitable for non porous or slightly porous natural stone ( e.g. granite )
Tools: Pressure sprayer
Dilute: Do not dilute.
Coverage: 5 litre of IPS-300® is sufficient for approximately 13 - 17 m² (2,5 - 3,3 m²/L) of surface when in 2 layers (wet on wet). Actual consumption depends on porousness of the surface, application method, experience and weather influences. Treating a small trial area is recommended to calculate true coverage.

AFTER USE:
Stains/residue: In case of spilling wipe off any residue before the product dries and clean with water.
Storage conditions: Store in a dry place in a sealed packaging, at a temperature between +5 °C and +25 °C. Shelf life: At least 18 months. Limited shelf life after opening. Best before date (MM/YY): see package.

DURING USE:
Directions for use: Clean surface from dirt, dust, oil, old paint, efflorescence and organic growth. If a green algae remover, acid or alkaline cleaning agent has been used, rinse the surface well with water. Surface has to be complete dry before application. Mask surfaces which will not be treated, such as window frames, windows and plants. Do not apply if rain is expected within 4 hours. Shake jerrycan before filling pressure sprayer. Do not dilute IPS-300®. Spray in small sections of 1-2m² – apply from top to bottom – at an approximate 20 cm distance from surface. Apply second layer ‘wet on wet’ – within 10 minutes of previous application. Once treated surface is dry, it’s not possible to apply an additional layer. IPS-300® may also be applied with brush or roller in case of small surfaces. Use water to clean tools afterwards. The surface is water and dirt repellant after 12 hours – maximum protection after 7 days.
Advice: If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.
Points of attention: Risk of corrosion: protect material in the vicinity, such as window frames, windows and plants. In case of spilling wipe off any residue before the product dries and clean with water. If applied in excess, a white deposit may form (after drying), which is difficult to remove. Upon application, the surface temperature should not exceed 40°C.
